Attracted by the wrought iron since his most soft childhood, this self-taught drew first of all his inspiration at the smith of a village of Pas-de-Calais, then at the bosses Norman iron craftsmen and the bosses cutlers of Thiers... More recently to the smiths of the Burkina Faso.
His approach is the one of the artist who does not lean on a technique in particular, but who tries above all to realize his dreams. In his workshop, he live with the elements indispensable to his creations (water, air, fire and iron). At other moments, at the scrap swashbucklers, he picks up obsolete objects which, once assembled, will allow him to achieve the aim.
