(1974) - French artist

Born in 1974, Priscilla Vincens has, since childhood, spent her free time learning and practicing painting. After brilliant studies of trade and an attempt to reconcile art and commerce by working for an auctioneer, she puts her skills to the film industry. The work requirements do not relieve from real frustration. His desire to paint exacerbated, but not satiated. On a serious accident, she released mutilated but alive and able to support her deep desire : to paint. Since then, she began to devote her life to developing her art technique focused on gesture, energy, expression and for which the result is less important than the ritual and magical time of the act that opens on the depth of the process. For three years, she deploys with a tireless energy, a masterful job leading her to exhibit in France and abroad. Her vital energy and her desire to share with others her passion for art and her love of life led her to develop a practical performance. During concerts or performances, she painted live, opening new prospects for relations between the artist and her audience. Inspired by the great contemporary masters of figurative painting, as Bacon Rebeyrolle, Barcelo or Leroy, she also find her inspiration in the German Expressionists, Nolde, Kirchner and Munch who are an endless source of inspiration, but she also likes de Stael, Redon Zao-Wouki or Giacometti.
